We've all probably been there. New to the city, don't know the "right" people, don't have any idea how to break into the system, unsure of if we're cut out for The Biz. Wouldn't it have been great at that first moment of uncertainty to know there were others just like us who'd made it through all the issues and survived? Wouldn't it have been great to have had a place to meet with those people, as well as to meet others at our same educational and skill levels?

I know Schroeder and I've seen the film. In my opinion, the most remarkable thing about MAN IN THE CHAIR is the obvious passion for the subject matter, which is the way our country and our industry uses and discards people as they age... Christopher Plummer gives a passionate and meaningful performance, and Michael Angarano proves that he's much more than a kid superhero. This is a film that deserves our support, and anyone would benefit from meeting Mike. He's a consummate professional, he's 100% real, and he's the best kind of guy to have in your corner.
Definitely go, definitely shake the man's hand, and definitely tell him Tennyson Stead told you not to miss this screening!
I've posted a call in the forum for the creation of film-centric mastermind groups, and I thought I'd let you know about it! If you're interested, click on the LA Indepedent group for more information.
